The development team at Bossa Studios working on Surgeon Simulator 2013 announces that the game now has support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset and that players can use the Medic and the Heavy from Team Fortress 2 in the roles of surgeon and patient.

Gamers who want to be even more immersed in the world of the game will also be able to use the Hydra motion controls from Razer.

The game update will be downloaded in the background via Steam.

Imre Jele, the co-founder of the company, says, "Working with Valve has been amazing because they are flexible and cool guys. We said, 'It would be great if we could have those two characters in Surgeon,' and they said, 'That's fantastic, let's do that'."

Apparently, the fan base of Surgeon Simulator 2013 has prompted the Valve collaboration.
