The Super Smash Bros. version for the Wii U has not been offered an official launch date by Nintendo, but it seems that gamers will be able to get access to it at some point in the middle of November, when the Amiibo line of figurines will also be offered to fans of the series.

The information comes from a NeoGAF user who has managed to see that on the United Kingdom official store the toys were listed as arriving in November, rather than before the end of 2014 as they were in the United States.

Since then, the page has been modified.

Nintendo has been heavily promoting the fact that one Amiibo figure, probably Mario, will be offered in at least some Super Smash Bros. packages on the Wii U.

The company has not offered any sort of comment on the leak.

The 3DS version of the game will arrive in Japan in the middle of September and Western players will be able to buy it starting on October 3.

It makes sense for Nintendo to deliver two of its biggest products of the year in November, just before the very important Christmas shopping season.

The game is expected to deliver a solid boost to the Wii U, and the development team has assured the fan base that it will offer both classic and innovative elements.
