Video game publisher and developer Nintendo has launched a trailer for the upcoming Super Mario Land 3D which is set to show off the range of moves that the main character can perform in the game.

Super Mario 3D Land is specifically created to be played in either 2 or 3 dimensions with the same ease, showing off Nintendo's new strategy of making three dimensional gaming on the 3DS an advantage but not an actual main feature.

All the special moves, like the gliding done using a Tanooki suit, can be turned off by the long time fans of the side scrolling platformer who want a simpler and purer experience.

Nintendo has publicly admitted that much of the sales slump that its new handheld has been experiencing is linked to lack of big franchise launches and is seeking to remedy the issues this holiday season.

Super Mario Land 3D is set to be launched during November exclusively on the 3DS.
