The entire Super Mario Bros. World 1-1 world can now be played in the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft and the team at Achievement Hunter that created it has released a video that shows a playthrough using both the side view and the first-person look.

The team behind Achievement Hunter says that it needed four hours to recreate the entire level and that most of the blocks and the enemies are in the exact place they were in the original Nintendo-made video game.

Minecraft has become a big hit both on the PC and the Xbox 360, mainly because the player base can use the impressive building feature of the game to re-create a number of well-known cultural and video game artifacts.

The most recent Mario release from Nintendo is New Super Mario Bros. U for the Wii U home console.
