Video game developer and publisher Capcom has announced that it will introduce a free update called 2013 to its fighting game Street Fighter x Tekken during the month of December, with the aim of improving the overall game mechanics.

Yoshinori Ono, who is the leading developer working on Street Fighter x Tekken, has announced the existence of 2013 during the New York Comic Con.

When it comes to overall systemic changes Street Fighter x Tekken will get faster standard throws, better anti-air techniques for the Tekken characters, slower health regeneration, a reduced number of timeouts, a better cinematic camera and new visual effects for Gem use.

When it comes to character the hippu Jinraikyaku move for Ken now has more damage and faster forward movement, EX Wind God Fist for Kazuya has full invincibility, Knee Press Nightmare from M. Bison is no longer countered by projectiles and both Paul and Bob walk faster.

More changes will be announced closer to the launch date for Street Fighter x Tekken 2013.
