Yoshinori Ono has announced that it was working with Joey Ansah and his team in order to create a new live action series called Assassin’s Fist, which is set to be based on the Street Fighter fighting game franchise.

The live action product will be launched at some point during 2013 and it is not clear how gamers will get access to it or whether it will be free.

Joey Ansah is the man who worked on the short movie Street Fighter: Legacy, which showed a face-off between Ryu and Ken, two of the core characters of the series.

The new series will be focused on the interactions between Ryu, Ken, Akuma and Gouken.

At the moment Capcom has also worked with Thousand Pounds Action in order to create a live action fan-made promo for Street Fighter x Tekken.

In addition, Namco Bandai is currently working on Tekken x Street Fighter, to be launched in 2013 for current generation consoles.
