Valve will offer more details about its SteamBox custom mini-PC next week, as the studio's boss, Gabe Newell, has confirmed in a recent conference that he's looking forward to sharing more info with fans.

Valve has evolved beyond game development as it maintains the Steam digital distribution service and is currently testing out hardware devices like its SteamBox, which is a mini-PC designed to be used in the living room for gaming.

While only rumors and speculation have appeared concerning the SteamBox, Valve's Gabe Newell has confirmed during a panel at LinuxCon, via CVG, that the studio will share more details about its hardware plans and how it will bring Steam into the living room.

Newell hasn’t shared any other info, so Valve fans will have to wait until sometime next week to get the actual details.
