14 DAY TRIAL // The Steam Winter Sale is set to kick off later this week and Valve has already begun teasing the upcoming promotion with special Snow Globe Trading Cards that are currently dropping for those who craft badges on their Steam profiles.
The Steam Winter Sale of 2013 is set to debut on December 19, according to the leaked dates that emerged online some time ago.
Until then, however, Valve has apparently enabled a special surprise for Steam users.
More precisely, those who craft badges using trading cards from games that have such things will earn special Snow Globe cards that are stored in a new collection in their inventory.
There are 10 different cards, in both standard and foil variety.
As of yet, however, you can't craft them into a separate badge as Steam won't allow you, according to the unofficial Wikia.
Chances are that you might be able to do that on December 19, when the winter sale kicks off.
