Just as Softpedia reported yesterday, Valve has kicked off the Steam Winter Holiday Sale of 2012 today, December 21, and has slashed the prices of many big games and franchises that are sold through the service.
Steam has won over many of its users by running big sales and discounts all the time.
After the extremely impressive Autumn Sale, the service is now running a special Winter Holiday Sale.
The first day of the promotion brings big discounts to a variety of franchises, including the Borderlands, Hitman, and Prince of Persia ones, not to mention price cuts for certain titles, like Scribblenauts Unlimited, Mirror's Edge, or Wargame: European Escalation.
Many other discounts have also been made, so check out the Steam storefront to find out all the deals of the Winter Sale.
