Valve has just confirmed that five new games have been added to the Steam Trading Cards beta program, including Serious Sam 3: BFE, Super Meat Boy, or Brutal Legend. New features such as booster packs are also available.

The Steam Trading Cards mechanic was introduced last month and, since then, the system has proven to be quite popular, allowing dedicated gamers to collect cards by playing certain titles, and then either add them to their collection or sell them on the Steam market.

Five new games have just received trading cards support, in the form of Serious Sam 3: BFE, Super Meat Boy, Brutal Legend, Anodyne, and Blocks That Matter.

What's more, Valve also revealed on the official group that booster packs, which contain extra cards, will now randomly drop for users who have collected all the trading cards possible for a game.
