Steam announced the next round of Greenlit games, some 50 new titles being added to the already large Steam Greenlight approved games list.

The total number of games that got the go-ahead is nearing 400, with 166 of them having been already released up to now on Valve's worldwide distribution platform.

The criteria used for selecting games is the number of votes received on their respective Greenlight pages, a valuable gauge of community interest. Press reviews, crowdfunding success or good performance on other platforms are also factored in the final decision.

The full list of 50 titles can be browsed (including descriptions, screenshots, videos) in the official Greenlight announcement.

Among the most notable titles are action-adventure and role-playing game hybrid Lili, sci-fi MMORPG The Repopulation, action-adventure role-playing game The Memory of Eldurîm, 3D arcade shooter Subject 9, puzzle horror game The 7th Guest 3: The collector and 2D building block role-playing game Windforge and others.

There are many games catering to many tastes, and they certainly look interesting. The release dates for the games will be decided by each of their developers independently.
