Video game developer and Steam-creator Valve has announced that the next batch of video games approved via its Greenlight program will be officially announced on January 15, after the team in charge has evaluated the votes from the community and the merits of each title.

It’s unclear why Valve has chosen not to announce a batch of new Greenlight-based games during December.

All those who want to push a game on the service towards success can do so by logging into their official account in order to vote.

So far, the Greenlight service has officially announced 50 titles that will be launched in the coming months, six of them non-gaming apps and 13 of them officially available via Steam.

At the moment, the digital distribution service is running its usual Winter Sale.
