Video game developer and hardware maker Valve announces that it will hold a two-day-long Steam Dev Days conference in Seattle in January 2014, with all members of the press barred from attending in the event.

The topics that the company is interesting in exploring with its partners are Virtual Reality and its future use, user generated content, development for the new SteamOS and reactions to the Valve-made controllers that are currently in development.

The Seattle location that will offer space for the planned roundtable discussions of the Dev Days has not been announced, but those interested should not make other plans for January 15 and 16 of next year.

Valve has recently made a number of big announcements, including the fact that it plans to launch SteamOS-powered hardware in 2014.

The company is probably looking for support from third parties and some important announcement might be made after the Steam Dev Days.
