14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer Blizzard says that all those players who want to change their screen name in Starcraft 2 can now do so via the account management system of Battle.net, by choosing their game license and then clicking on the new Character Name Change button.
Initially, the development team wanted to introduce a paid system for name changes, but decided to offer the option for free in order to compensate for the fact that it arrived late in the life cycle of Starcraft 2.
Blizzard says, “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that the lack of name change options has caused anyone. We should have more information about a Paid Character Name Change feature shortly after the release of Heart of the Swarm.”
Another free name change will be offered to all Starcraft 2 players after the new Clan feature is introduced.
