The development team at Blizzard is launching an official hub for the upcoming Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, designed to give players all the information they need about the ceremonies linked to the release of the new game.

The page reads: “Top StarCraft II pro-gamers will play Heart of the Swarm show matches with your favorite casters narrating the action. We'll also feature live demonstrations of new features in Heart of the Swarm, showcase videos and community content, and give away great prizes.”

Official launch events will take place in a number of cities and gamers will also be able to watch them online.

Heart of the Swarm is focused on the adventures of Sarah Kerrigan and the Zerg and also introduces new units for the multiplayer side of the game.

The next installment in the Starcraft 2 saga arrives on March 12 on the PC.
