A series of concept art shots for Battlefront Online have leaked out, showing how the multiplayer-oriented shooter might have looked on launch if it had not been canceled in 2010 by publisher LucasArts.
The images have been discovered by Siliconera and they show familiar characters from the Star Wars universe and a location that seems to be linked to the ice planet Hoth.
Star Wars: Battlefront Online was in development at Slant Six as recently as 2010, but the project was terminated before an official announcement was made.
At the moment, the only Star Wars related game in development at LucasArts, which has recently been acquired by Disney, is 1313, an adventure title that will allow players to explore the seedy underworld of Coruscant.
The main character will not be a Jedi, which is a first for the franchise.
