14 DAY TRIAL // No official information has yet been offered concerning the launch date of Star Wars: Battlefront, but a page for the title on the official site of GameStop Italy suggests that gamers might be able to play it starting December 10 of this year.
The site is not always reliable when it comes to dates, and there's a big chance that this is only a placeholder.
However, December 10 might be a plausible date for Star Wars: Battlefront, with Halo 5: Guardians dominating the month of October and a new Call of Duty title sure to be linked to November.
The late launch period will also mean that fans will have the time to check out the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens in cinemas before being enticed to play a video game linked to it.
There are also novels linked to the franchise coming in 2015, and the December date means that they will have time to deliver their versions of all the events that will also be included in the game.
Neither DICE nor Electronic Arts have commented on the leaked info, and we will probably only have an official date at E3 2015.
Star Wars: Battlefront is set to arrive on the PlayStation 4, the PC, and the Xbox One.
