14 DAY TRIAL // Video game publisher reveals a new space-based simulation-themed MMO called Star Galaxy, which will use a number of social elements and will go into closed beta on December 20 of this year.
Gamers will be able to create bases, erect buildings, recruit units and manage resources before joining battles that can include no less than 2,000 players at once.
The factions for Star Galaxy include: The Boldor Imperial Army – leader Roy Bismark; The Holy Knights of Selshion – Dia Vite; The Universe Trading Union – Tagel and Republic led by Vivian.
The entire game experience can be played in a browser, using a free-to-play model and microtransactions.
Fans thought that the teaser Square Enix site would be linked to a future social game experience based on the Star Ocean franchise.
