The system requirements for Star Citizen include a dual-core processor powered PC with at least an Nvidia GTX 460 graphics card and at least 4 GB of RAM for the system.

Those players who are looking to run the game with full details will need to run an i7 2500, 2600, 2700 or better processor with a GTX 670 card and the same amount of system memory.

As development proceeds on the game, these might change, but players can get a good idea of whether they need an upgrade in order to enjoy the space sim.

Star Citizen will be launched in early 2014.
