14 DAY TRIAL // Although it's less than a month until the Japanese release of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, the guys from Square Enix were kind enough to bring fans a number of screenshots.
First of all, you'll get a sneak peek of Fang, the hard- headed I'Cie that was among the strongest playable characters in Final Fantasy XIII who defeated Orphan along with Vanille. They stopped the collision between Pulse and Cocoon by transforming into a Crystal Pillar between the two worlds.
It seems that they both slept within the crystal pillar for centuries and awoke a few years ago. After that, Fang set out to the Dead Dunes in search of a unique relic but did not come back.
Fans will find Lightning and Fang reuniting and teaming up to fight those that stand in their way, enemies that would be hard to defeat alone.
You'll get to see screenshots of the extraordinary ruins that lie under the Dead Dunes as well as ones of Lightning fighting the last survivor of the monsters species in Nova Chrysalia called the Last One.
