A number of players who are interested in Splinter Cell: Blacklist are saying that they are unable to launch the game using the Steam service, with the title stuck in the pre-load complete stage of the process.

Other gamers are reporting that their game files are not being decrypted.

Those affected hail from countries like South Africa, Bermuda, Kuwait, Indonesia, Egypt, Israel, the Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, Cyprus, and Serbia.

A moderator from Ubisoft states, "I have reported this – however can everyone please contact both Steam support (as the retailer you should be contacting them) and Ubisoft support – so they are aware of the people affected."

Apparently, the development team and the support team at Valve are working on the issue at the moment.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is also available on the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii U.
