Nintendo of America has confirmed that it’s going to host a very special Wii U midnight launch event at its Nintendo World store in New York City, where NoA president Reggie Fils-Aime will personally sell the very first console to the first customer in line.
Nintendo will debut the Wii U first in North America on November 18, and will then release it at the end of the month in territories like Europe or Japan.
In order to mark the special occasion in a proper way, Nintendo has confirmed that it’s organizing a special midnight launch event at its Nintendo World store in New York City.
The event starts at 6pm EST on November 17, according to CVG, and will see special premium items given to fans who start lining up in front of the store.
At midnight, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime will personally sell the very first Wii U in North America to the first person in line.
