Full Control, the team behind the (in)famous Space Hulk turn-based strategy game, has just announced the launch of a new campaign for their PC take on one of the best-selling board games set in Warhammer 40k universe.

Dubbed “Messenger of Purgatory,” the new campaign contains three new challenging missions in which players will have to recover the remains of the fallen Captain Atarius.

The new campaign will be available for free to all players who already own Space Hulk on Steam, as a token of appreciation for their great support.

“We wanted to give the community a big ‘thank you’ for the wonderful support they have shown, through the first stage of launch, and we think that fans will really love the Messenger of Purgatory campaign.

“This game update addresses many of the fan requests and suggestions that continue to hone and refine the experience of Space Hulk,” said Thomas Hentschel Lund, CEO of Full Control.

As developers point out, the new campaign will be accompanied by a huge update that includes lots of bug fixes and gameplay improvements, including the option to speed up walk animations. Full changelog for update 1.2 are available in Steam.
