Publisher Focus Home Interactive has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming Unreal Engine 4-powered first-person shooter Space Hulk: Deathwing, also confirming the game’s release on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms.

The upcoming shooter is based on Games Workshop’s popular Space Hulk fantasy board game, set in the Warhammer 40K universe, and following a group of marines who are fighting the alien Genestealers aboard the eponymous Space Hulk.

The publisher has also noted the fact that the trailer is realized with in-engine footage, and considering how well it looks, it’s an amazing feat that will surely please long-standing Warhammer 40K fans with a craving for some next-gen action.

If previous Space Hulk games opted for a more strategic route, Deathwing is be the first to introduce the first-person shooter gameplay into the formula. Gamers will be able to step into the shoes of one of the most fearsome Space Marines in the entire universe, choosing between Terminator (big dudes with bigger guns) and Librarian (marines with special psychic powers), and gain points as they progress through the story, which they can then spend on improving various skills, abilities, weapon and armor upgrades.

Space Hulk: Deathwing is currently in development at Streum On Studio, expected to come out sometime in 2015, for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms.
