The development team at Santa Monica studio of Sony Computer Entertainment is looking to hire designers with previous open-world experience in order to create a yet unannounced video game that will be launched on the PlayStation 4 from Sony.

CVG says that developers who apply for the open position will need to have experience with first- and third-person gameplay mechanics.

Sony Santa Monica is best known for the development of the God of War series, which received its most recent Ascension release earlier during the year.

The company is also rumored to have been working on the PlayStation 4 project for some time, but no information has been offered about it.

The Santa Monica studio is also collaborating with the rest of the development teams at Sony, helping with the creation of indie titles like Journey.
