John Koller, who leads the marketing department at the console division of Sony, says that support for the PlayStation 3 home console will be offered for three or four years and that gamers can still look forward to some big video game launches.

He is quoted by Gamespot as saying that, "We have a good lineup this year and it looks like a good lineup next year. We need to keep fueling that. We really have to keep PS3 alive. And so to do that, we have to further the content. I think there will be a good story for the PS3 over the next year to two years."

Most of the resources of the company will focus on the PlayStation 4, but the PS3 has a huge install base already and any coming title for the console can expect to have good sales as long as it manages to create a solid experience.

This year, players will get access to games like Thief, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Dark Souls 2, Final Fantasy 10/10-2 HD Remaster, Child of Light, Enemy Front, Watch Dogs.
