The tech might revive sales of the handheld later in 2013

Video game hardware maker Sony suggests that it is working to add a Vita remote play capability to most if not all the video games that will be launched on the upcoming PlayStation 4.

The official website for the device states, “Play your favorite PS4 games on your PlayStation Vita’s beautiful 5-inch display using Remote Play.”

The phrase might be just marketing, but most buyers would see it as false advertising if only a limited number of titles supported Vita remote play.

Sony has recently hinted that it has a big revival plan for its handheld and its popularity will certainly increase as long as all major PS4 releases are linked to it.

The company is not commenting on its plans, but more details will probably be revealed during the coming E3 2013 event.
