Developer Sumo Digital is getting ready to launch a new patch for Sonic & All-Stars Racing, designed to fix a number of issues that a previous update has introduced to the Wii U, the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 versions of the game.

A Sumo Digital representative said on the official forums that “We’re looking into the Wii U Boost Challenge and Ninja Tag issue (and any other non-race game mode). To cut a long story short there was a problem with the update which went live on Sunday – and we’re working to get it sorted ASAP.”

The SEGA stagger also apologized for the problems that Sonic & All-Stars Racing had on launch.

The game is also supposed to get versions of the 3DS handheld from Nintendo and the PlayStation Vita from Sony during December.
