After announcing that Sniper Elite V2 is coming to the Nintendo Wii U, Rebellion has now released the game onto the new home console, but it apparently took out the different online cooperative modes that were so popular on the PC, PS3, or Xbox 360.

Sniper Elite V2 came out last year and entertained gamers who liked to play as snipers through detailed mechanics and the entertaining X-ray killcam.

Since then, Rebellion released a spinoff on the PC, in the form of Nazi Zombie Army, and confirmed that a Wii U edition is coming.

Sniper Elite V2 has now been rolled out into stores for the Nintendo console, but it seems that Rebellion decided to extract the online co-op modes from the experience.

According to NintendoLife, many players are complaining on either Twitter or Miiverse about the lack of modes like Kill Tally, Bombing Run, or Overwatch.

As of yet, the studio hasn't talked about the stealth release of Sniper Elite V2 or its lack of co-op.
