The World War II shooter has quite a lot of Wii U-specific improvements

Sniper Elite V2 is coming to the Nintendo Wii U this spring, as developer Rebellion and publisher 505 Games have revealed that the shooter has received plenty of improvements and will take advantage of the console's innovative GamePad.

Sniper Elite V2 delivered a pretty impressive experience last year on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms by tasking players with executing all sorts of sniper-specific missions during the end of the World War II.

Now, developer Rebellion has confirmed via an official statement, that Sniper Elite V2 is coming to the Nintendo Wii U this spring.

The shooter will take advantage of the special Wii U GamePad, as owners of the console can tag enemies or traps by tapping on the touchscreen, as well as track their locations and monitor the activity surrounding him.

You can expect to hear a few more details about Sniper Elite V2 on the Wii U as we get closer to its release in the following months.
