Sledgehammer Games, the co-developer of last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, is continuing its work on the franchise, at least according to a recent job listing posted by the studio for a Senior Environment Artist.

Activision has a variety of studios working on its Call of Duty series, from the creators of the franchise, Infinity Ward, to Treyarch, Sledgehammer, Raven, or Neversoft.

Now, after co-developing Modern Warfare 3 with Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games is apparently once again working on the franchise, as it’s just posted a special job listing on Gamasutra, advertising an open position for a Senior Environment Artist that will work on its Call of Duty development team.

Ideal candidates need to be skilled in crafting environments for single-player and multiplayer platforms and have experience on platforms like the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.

Recent rumors say that the next Call of Duty game will once again be a Modern Warfare installment, so it’s possible that Sledgehammer and Infinity are once again working together.
