Developer Arcen Games, best known for creating A.I. War and Valley Without Wind, announces that it is working on a new video game called Skyward Collapse, which is set to use traditional 4X strategy mechanics.

Players will be taken to a floating space in the sky and they will be able to control Norse and Greek factions as they try to conquer the game world.

But the ultimate aim of Skyward Collapse will be to get a stable world in which conflict is important but no one gets wiped out.

The game will be focused on villages and players will have a limited degree of control on their behavior.

In the announcement for Skyward Collapse Christopher Park, the leader of Arcen, states, “Given the resources and appropriate buildings, your villagers will gear up for war without your direct interaction, and will fight it out to the best of their abilities.”
