PlayStation 3 owners were thrilled to hear that the second update for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released a couple of day ago, as it finally looked like their lag and freeze issues would be solved. Sadly, from what we’re hearing on the web, things aren’t completely fixed.

Patch 1.2 for Skyrim was eagerly awaited by millions of the game’s owners, as even though it’s a great experience, there are still plenty of glitches and problems. Chief among these issues were the lag and freezes experienced by PlayStation 3 owners of Skyrim, as the game grinded to a halt once the save game files reached a certain size.

The new patch, which seemingly eliminated this problem at first, doesn’t completely fix this, as already quite a lot of Skyrim PS3 owners are complaining that, once they play for more than 2-3 hours, the lag is experienced once again.

So, owners of Skyrim on the PlayStation 3, did the new patch eliminate this issue or has Bethesda just tried to fix it temporarily before it can really address the problem? Share your experiences below.
