A group of modders is at work developing an update for The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind role-playing game, using the greatly superior TES5: Skyrim engine. The mod's official moniker is Skywind, a combination of the two titles involved.

More than 70 people are involved in the project to bring Morrowind's content to Skyrim, and now an official development video has been released, showcasing the group's work so far, with behind the scenes details.

The team stated that they "wanted to create something that could be embraced by both by Bethesda and The Elder Scrolls community. It is a chance for fans to recreate a loved world in their design and make it their own."

The mod is currently a work-in-progress and a lot of work is still needed for completion, but a playable unfinished version is available on the Morroblivion community page.

Both licensed copies of Morrowind (including all its expansions) and Skyrim (PC version) are needed in order to install the mod.
