14 DAY TRIAL // Publisher Activision announced the upcoming Skylander Trap Team Dark Edition collector's pack, a special package containing three exclusive figures, a two-sided collector's poster, and an Ultimate Kaos Trap that allows players to play as the series villain, Portal Master Kaos, right out of the box.
The three characters included in the special edition are black and silver variants of Snap Shot, Wildfire and Food Fight, which will only be available with the Dark Edition. The bundle will also include sticker sheets and trading cards.
The Dark Edition is going to be pretty pricey, set to go for $100 / €74 in the United States. Pricing details in other regions have not yet been disclosed, nor has Activision confirmed or announced when the toys will arrive anywhere else.
Skylanders: Trap Team launches on October 2 in Australia, October 5 in North America and October 10 in Europe, introducing a new Traptanium Portal, a third-generation device that enables players to capture enemies and then play as them in-game.
A limited number of standard-sized Kaos Traps will be released worldwide, but the larger collector's trap will only be available within the limited edition pack.
The game is going to be available on the Nintendo 3DS, Wii, Wii U, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.
