Skullgirls, the delightful fighting game from Lab Zero Games that earned a cult following on the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles, will appear on the PC platform on August 22, and pre-orders are set to start at the beginning of next month.

Skullgirls was a pretty successful fighting experience made by Lab Zero for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms, but its popularity really took off once the developer started asking fans to contribute via crowdfunding in order to get DLC released for the game.

Now, after those add-ons have been released, Lab Zero has offered new details about the upcoming PC version of the game, which entered closed beta earlier this month.

According to the studio's Facebook page, Skullgirls will be released for the PC, via Steam, on August 22.

Pre-orders for the game will kick off on the digital distribution service on August 1, so fans should wait until then.
