The Hamburg-based developer Daedalic Entertainment has just revealed that adventure title Silence – The Whispered World 2 is scheduled for release during late 2014.

The Whispered World adventure game was deemed one of the most emotionally expressive of Daedalic's games.

Daedalic has also released an official CG Trailer to mark the announcement, hosted on GameTrailers.

The game will benefit from completely new 3D visuals, taking players back to Silence, the world made of dreams.

The action's main focus is on a teenager, Noah, and his quest to find his lost little sister Renie. Noah lost Renie in the real world and now hopes to relocate her within Silence.

Players will be taken on another emotionally striking adventure, assisting Noah in solving the many mysteries surrounding him, his sister and the visually impressive dreamscapes of Silence.

Fans of the first game will have the opportunity to revisit old characters and will be delighted to find the same kind of emotionally rewarding and humorous storyline they found in the original title.

Daedalic Entertainment has scheduled Silence – The Whispered World 2 for a PC and Mac release toward the end of 2014.
