Project Cars may have been delayed one more time earlier this week but this isn't stopping developer Slightly Mad Studios from sharing a new video that focuses on the never-before-seen Career mode that's going to be a major part of the upcoming racing experience.

Project Cars launches later this year and has gone through several intended release periods, and the last one seemed to be the final one, but now the game is set to debut in early April.

In order to make the wait a bit more bearable, developer Slightly Mad Studios has just shared a fresh gameplay video from Project Cars, this time focusing more on its special Career mode, which acts as a sort-of single-player campaign.

According to the trailer, which you can see below, players will be able to pick between different disciplines, such as GT racing, open-wheel, or prototype ones. They're all organized in tiers but the game doesn't force players to start from the bottom and then unlock new events.

Instead, they're presented with all the unlocked tiers and can choose whatever strikes their interest. There will be certain accomplishments that require a specific progression or performance, but they won't be mandatory.

You can expect to see more of the career mode in Project Cars in the following weeks, as we get closer to the game's April debut.
