Developer TeamPixel says that it is now ready to refund the money that backers offered to the Save Homeworld campaign after the company has failed to secure the license and launch the development process for a new title in the series.

All those who donated via Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or PayPal need to visit the official website in order to track their money and find out how they can get their refund.

The team states, “We hope you will join us in supporting Homeworld’s new owners in building a future for the franchise.”

The Homeworld license was sold at an auction after THQ went bankrupt and it seems that SEGA has picked it up, along with developer Relic.

TeamPixel says that an official announcement about the future of the Homeworld brand is expected in the coming weeks.
