The development team at Sony Online Entertainment announces that it is at the moment delaying the All Access membership plans for its MMO titles, which is now expected to be introduced on April 29, and tells the community that updates for games might be delayed while it is being implemented.

An official post explains that the decision was made to make sure that the entire initiative was introduced as seamlessly as possible.

The official forums state, “Because of the portfolio-wide nature of this plan, this may prevent us from doing any individual game updates in EverQuest, EverQuest 2, Planetside 2, and DC Universe Online.”

Once All Access is launched, the individual updates for MMOs will return and the development team at SOE is thanking the community for its patience.

The new initiative is designed to allow gamers to pay one time in order to get all the advantages of premium memberships for the titles mentioned above.

A regular payment of 15 dollars or Euro is associated with All Access.

SOE says that the new program is aimed mostly at hardcore MMO fans and that it plans to continue offering plenty of content and features to those who play the titles for free.
