Video game publisher SEGA has announced that Anarchy Reigns, the Platinum Games developed third person shooter with brawler elements and a multiplayer focus, has again been delayed and is now set to be launched on July 3 of 2012 in the United States and three days later on the European market.

The game will be launched on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 from Sony.

Gary Knight, who is the senior vice president of marketing at SEGA West, stated, “Anarchy Reigns brings a new take to the brawler genre and we’ve decided to take a little more time to deliver the full knockout punch. I can’t reveal much now, but it’s something to do with scale. Let’s just say traditional one on one or two versus two fighters will be a thing of the past.”

In Anarchy Reigns gamers will control extravagant fighters as they use impressive moves to defeat their enemies in a multiplayer environment.
