A brand new video with Ryse: Son of Rome, the new game from Crytek for the Xbox One, has just been released by Microsoft, this time focusing on the actual combat mechanics and featuring quite a bit of commentary from the game's various developers.

Ryse was initially announced for the Xbox 360 and Kinect sensor, but Crytek soon realized that it needed the power of the Xbox One and the fidelity of the new and improved Kinect to deliver its hack and slash experience.

After some intriguing demonstrations at E3 2013 and Gamescom 2013, the studio has now posted a fresh video with Ryse: Son of Rome, in which its developers talk about the combat in the new game and how it's much more complex than just the quick time events that were depicted in the very first gameplay footage.

Check out the brutal Xbox One title in action above and look forward to its launch on November 22, alongside the Xbox One.
