The source that has talked earlier about the hardware of the Xbox 720 and its lack of an always-connected requirement also confirms the existence of a Xbox Mini hardware design, also known as Xbox TV, which will be launched during the fall.

He states, via a Pastebin document, that the main aim of the new device will be to compete with Apple TV.

The new console will be powered by the new Xbox 360 system on a chip that Microsoft is developing and launch price is expected to be under 100 dollars or Euro.

The Xbox Mini will not include an actual hard drive but will be able to play titles delivered from Xbox Live and the Games on Demand service.

The team working on the hardware is different from the one handling the design and launch of the main Xbox 720, which will be fully revealed on May 21.
