14 DAY TRIAL // An official update on the PlayStation Blog talks about coming content for the PlayStation Network service and mentions that Plus subscribers will soon get access to a free multiplayer version of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
The list has since then been pulled down by Sony, which probably means that the free version of the game is real but that it will be released at a later date.
Naughty Dog has not commented officially on the information.
The developer surprised many of its fans when it announced that it was adding multiplayer to Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, but the game modes have proved popular with its fans.
Making the multiplayer side of such a popular game for PS Plus subscribers might generate more sales in the long term for the game.
A new Uncharted is expected to be launched for the PlayStation 4.
