Publisher Atari and developer Area 52 Games have released the first gameplay teaser trailer for RollerCoaster Tycoon World, the upcoming reboot of the classic series.

The beloved franchise is set to soar to new heights, with a bunch of innovative features that will enable gamers to build the theme park of their dreams.

The new trailer shows off some of the things that players will be able to build, the scale and diversity of the options available to them, and outlines the general vibe of the theme park-goer experience, focusing, of course, on the colossal rollercoasters that have become the series' main draw.

This is the first time we get to see the simulation game in motion, showing off its many features and the exciting rides we'll be able to build.

The game will also enable up to four players to take part in cooperative multiplayer action, working in tandem in order to build the perfect park. Of course, each of the players will get to take care of their own section of the park, in order to avoid territorial disputes.

The developers have stated that their main focus is on creating an intuitive and powerful interface meant to enable players to create exactly the kind of rides they want.

RollerCoaster Tycoon World is currently scheduled for release sometime in 2015, headed to Windows PC.
