Rockstar Games, the studio behind massive franchises like Grand Theft Auto or Max Payne, has confirmed that it’s set up a joint team alongside Technicolor that will work only on high-end games and art.

Technicolor has worked alongside Rockstar on many of its recent games, including Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire, and Max Payne 3, as the famous company helped with animation and art efforts.

Now, Rockstar has decided to continue the partnership in a solid way and has set up a special team that bridges the two companies.

"Technicolor were a fantastic resource for us during the development of Max Payne 3", said Jeronimo Barrera, VP of development at Rockstar Games. "We're looking forward to building the partnership on future projects."

Technicolor will continue, however, to work alongside other video game publishers, like Electronic Arts, Sony, or Square Enix.
