14 DAY TRIAL // Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming out in the fall of this year, but so far the Lara Croft appreciation society has received relatively little information about the story of the game or the way the mechanics will be improved.
Now the developers at Crystal Dynamics and publisher Square Enix are releasing a range of new high-resolution images taken from the title, which do a great job of showing off the quality of the graphics and the way the game world aims to deliver impressive environments and detailed characters.
The bear screenshot is the most interesting of the bunch, but it's also nice to see the range of emotions that Lara Croft will be able to deliver in Rise of the Tomb Raider and the fact that at least one location with a normal temperature will be included.
The title is set to be first introduced on the Xbox One home console from Microsoft, but it seems that it will also be delivered on other platforms after a while.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is designed as a direct sequel to the series reboot and the development team has promised that it will introduce some interesting twists to the traditional formula of the series.
