Gamers get access to four new maps and the Peacekeeper
The first piece of downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, called Revolution, is set to arrive on the PlayStation 3 home consoles from Sony and on the PC on the last day of February.Gamers will get access to four new maps, named Hydro, Downhill, Grind and Mirage and there’s also a new zombie-based mode built around a map called Die Rise, according to the PlayStation Blog.
The development team at Treyarch is also adding a new weapon, the Peacekeeper, which offers a mix of abilities from an assault rifle and a submachine gun.
Revolution is already available on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft.
Activision wants to continue delivering new content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 in order to make sure that the franchise continues to dominate the first-person shooter multiplayer space.
