Resident Evil: Revelations, the upcoming re-release of the 3DS game that appeared last year, will get a demo ahead of its launch on the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U.

After the lackluster success of Resident Evil 6, Capcom confirmed that the previously 3DS-exclusive Revelations will be launched onto high-definition platforms.

We heard quite a lot of details in recent weeks, and now Capcom has confirmed on its Unity website that Resident Evil: Revelations will receive a special demo on the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U platforms via their different digital distribution services, like Steam, PSN, Xbox Live, or eShop.

The launch date for the demo isn't clear just yet but, considering the game is out on May 21 in North America, and May 24 in Europe, you can expect Capcom to roll it out in the very near future.
