Capcom wants players to go through the story mode of Revelations

Capcom has revealed a new piece of information about its upcoming Resident Evil: Revelations title for the Nintendo 3DS, as players will need to complete its lengthy story mode before getting to try out the cooperative 'Raid' mode.

Resident Evil: Revelations is set to be one of the biggest games made for the 3DS, and Capcom is more than willing to charge more for it because the array of content included on its bigger capacity memory card.

Besides the story mode, which producer Masachika Kawata says, via Andriasang, will take around 10 hours to complete, the new Revelations title will also include a cooperative one called Raid that will see players work together online to tackle the waves of infected zombies.

In order to get to experience this mode, however, players need to finish the single-player campaign. What's more, alongside the new mode, new characters like Jessica and O'Brien will also be available, alongside Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine.

Resident Evil: Revelations is out exclusively for the 3DS on January 27, in Europe, and February 7, in North America.
